Description
This SIP Certified vineyard, located in Santa Barbara County's Los Alamos, utilizes hand-picked grapes for its Muscat of Alexandria. The grapes are whole cluster pressed and fermented in neutral French oak, then aged for 8 months sur-lies. Only a limited amount of sulfur dioxide is used, and the product is vegan with no added sugar or BS.
Tasting Notes
Steely minerality hides between a cavalcade of citrus blossoms, wild orange honey and lime pith. Highly aromatic with a richness to match. Great oily weight and some grit balanced by vibrant acidity. Bone dry but can easily fool as the nose smells sweet and seductive.
